Why Screen Printing?
Screen printing is a labor intensive process that leads to incredibly durable and flexible printing. At 1 Part Art, 1 Part Tee we take pride in the fact that we only use the safest and most eco-friendly inks, solvents, emulsions, and chemicals. This may cost a bit more but we can't morally justify using damaging materials when their are cleaner and more responsible alternatives. When screen printing does not make sense we offer custom cut apperal vinyl and pigment ink digital transfers.
The Philosophy
1 Part Art, 1 Part Tee is a screen printing shop that is run by two artists. We believe that the process of creation is as important as the product when it comes to making something. This is what separates works of art from mass produced consumables. So much of what we are surrounded by is meant to serve a purpose and then be discarded. We want to make something that will be enjoyed and treasured as much for its aesthetics as for its craftsmanship.
